Join Artist Inc. alumni at the KC Urban Potters at the Midwest Pottery Fest at #4 Wesport Rd, KC this Mother’s Day weekend!  We’re inviting 6 nationally recognized artists to join us for a weekend full of food, drinks, music, artist demonstrations talks, a Flower Bar on Sunday for Mother’s Day, and, of course, a wonderful selection of unique, handmade pottery.

Friday evening, May 12, from 5-8 is their Opening Reception with drinks, food, & live music by local Klezmer band, Tiny Flowers.  Get a first look at the newest work by all 13 artists, who will be in attendance & happy to talk with you about their work.

Saturday’s sale, May 13, will include artists demonstrations & presentations about their work throughout the day. (see schedule) Check out the energetic scene here in Westport, with a variety of restaurants & local creative shops in our neighborhood, including Oddly Correct Coffee & Maker Goods.  Spend the day with us perusing the pottery, visiting with and watching the artists work during their demonstrations & talks, & exploring the local scene.

On Sunday, May 14, we will host a Mother’s Day Flower Bar! Bring the family out for a unique Mother’s Day experience.  Choose from a variety of artist made vases and create your own bouquet.  We’ll have a designer on hand if you need a little help arranging.  Enjoy coffee by Oddly Correct, juice, & pastries for a one-of-a-kind day with Mom.
